Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has sworn Barrister Mohammed Sani Umar as the new Acting Head of Civil Service and Yahuza Adamu Haruna as the Chief Economic Adviser.
Barrister Mohammed Sani Umar who previously served as the Permanent Secretary in charge of Establishment is now tasked with leading the state’s civil service.
Similarly, Alhaji Yahuza Adamu Haruna who was the immediate past Head of Civil Service is expected to guide the government on economic strategies that will drive sustainable development in the state.
Speaking after the oath taking t at Government House, Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed emphasized that Haruna will work closely with the State Economic Management Team to coordinate inter-sectoral economic policies and monitor the implementation of government programs.
Meanwhile, the Governor has approved a swap in leadership for two major educational institutions.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on media and publicity comrade Mukthar Gidado says Dr. Abubakar Surunbai Dahiru Bauchi will now serve as the executive Chairman of A.D. Rufa’i College of Education, Legal and Islamic Studies, while Senator Lawan Yahaya Gumau takes over as Chairman of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic ATAP.
