In a stunning turn of events, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost three top executives and over 7,500 members to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Dass Local Government Area, Bauchi State.
Led by Yunusa Umar, Deputy Chairman, Yusuf Inuwa Bora, Youth Leader, and Isah Zakarai, Welfare Secretary, the defectors praised the PDP-led administration’s developmental projects.
“We’re convinced the PDP truly cares for our people’s welfare,” Yunusa Umar said.
The Executive Chairman and PDP Chairman in Dass LGA welcomed the defectors, assuring them of Governor Bala Muhammad’s commitment to inclusivity.
This mass defection deals a significant blow to the APC in Bauchi State, boosting the PDP’s chances in upcoming elections.
